We're simply making some swaps. We'll replace some of the foods that make you feel like crap and gain weight with foods that do the opposite. And no...this doesn't mean you'll be drinking green juice and eating salads for every meal. I'm talking normal foods your whole family will eat - healthy fats like butter and even cheese, proteins like steak and shrimp (if you eat meat), and fiber-rich carbs like veggies, potatoes, and chickpea pasta.
We don't want you to be hungry because that means you're not eating enough to support a healthy metabolism. If you are following what we recommend and not staying full for 4 hours between meals, we give you guidelines for how to increase how much you're eating.
You can't fail with this program. If you happen to go off the plan, it's easy to hop right back on.
Nope. Supplements are not required and there are no exotic ingredients. If there is something you don't like or don't want to buy on the plan, you'll just use the swap list to swap it out.

Absolutely. This program is NOT just about weight loss and can be done even when you're not trying to lose weight. We're getting your body in balance and revving up your metabolism, which, in turn, makes you feel good and have more energy. It's also based around whole foods, which are good for both you AND baby. You can still join! All of the trainings are in the online membership portal. The Facebook group is a great place to ask questions because they will get answered ASAP. Megan will also do weekly mini-trainings and a Q&A in there, so you will miss those items. We have many people create a fake profile just to join in for the 30 days and get the full experience.

Yes! Blood sugar control is SUPER important with PCOS. Your body is more insulin resistant, meaning it has a harder time controlling blood sugar levels, which can often lead to weight gain. You will learn how to eat in a way (PHFF) to control blood sugar levels and also learn how many carbs you should be eating. Our participants who have had PCOS have great results in terms of blood sugar numbers and weight loss.
That depends. Each week, there are 4-5 video modules to watch and they range anywhere from 5-25 minutes (most are around 10). You will also want to account for some time to grocery shop and meal prep (~1-3 hours).
If this does not seem like something you have time for, you can also work through the program at your own pace (rather than working through it in 30 days) because you get lifetime access to everything.
Well, we’re all snowflakes and our metabolisms are all in VERY different places right now, but a 5-8 lb weight loss (in 30 days) is common depending on how much you need to lose. I’ve seen up to 15 lbs losses in those with a significant amount of weight to lose, but that is the max amount I would ever recommend on this plan.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This isn’t a “weight loss” plan, it’s a “fat loss” plan. You will be eating enough to keep muscle loss at an absolute minimum, so it’s important to measure success in more ways than the scale. Look at inches!

Yep! We really focus on blood sugar control and how that affects the insulin response in your body. During menopause, the way your body handles carbs and insulin actually goes down (less insulin resistance), so it's really important to focus on that blood sugar control and how many carbohydrates you're eating.

Honestly, most diet programs don't work because they rely on willpower. "Here is the list of things you like to do that you CAN'T do for 30 days." This approach is bullshit, because what happens after the 30 days? You can add those things back in and the weight comes back. Duh. This is a scientifically-backed program that focuses on your biology, not your willpower. I will teach you how to eat in a way that "hacks" your biology and tricks it into burning more fat. I will not teach you how to eat fewer calories so that you end up lowering your metabolic burn (bc - ahem - that's what happens).
HELL YES. There's even an entire week dedicated to "real life" like vacations, weekends, holidays, and travel. You can't lose weight and keep it off if you don't know how to handle these situations and if you ever feel deprived. You'll be eating foods like butter, bacon, avocados, cheese, eggs, chicken, beef, seafood, rice, potatoes, and tons of veggies (and alcohol if that's your thing), so it's pretty easy to stick to it even while traveling.
You can expect to completely change the way you think about food. You can expect to ditch food anxiety and start living your life again. Food is a big part of our lives, so focusing on it and stressing over it takes a LOT of energy. I want you to spend your energy on other things. Things you REALLY love. And aside from that, participants report better sleep, more energy, clearer skin, less stress, and improved digestion.
